With the anticipated launch of Xiaomi‘s newest smartphones, the 14T and 14T Pro, right around the corner, leaked information about their features and European pricing has started to surface.
The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro, arriving nearly a year after its predecessors, the 13T and 13T Pro, is rumored to have a starting price of €649 for the model with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The more premium 14T Pro, featuring 12 GB RAM and a substantial 512 GB storage, is expected to retail for €899.
While the leaks have provided some details, it remains uncertain whether Xiaomi will offer additional RAM and storage configurations for the 14T and 14T Pro. The 14T is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor, while the 14T Pro will feature the more advanced Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
However, some may find the inclusion of the Dimensity 9300+ in the 14T Pro a bit underwhelming, as MediaTek’s next flagship processor, the Dimensity 9400, is slated to launch just weeks later in October.
Both models will offer the same color options: Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, and Titanium Blue. It’s still unclear whether the phones will feature actual titanium in their construction or if these are just color names.
In terms of display, both phones will share the same specifications: a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1220 x 2712, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 4,000-nit peak brightness. The main camera on the 14T is expected to utilize a Sony IMX906 sensor measuring 1/1.56″, while the telephoto camera will be a 50MP unit offering 2.6x optical zoom and 4x optical equivalent zoom. The third camera is likely to be a 12MP ultrawide shooter.
The 14T Pro will differentiate itself with a larger 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 900 main camera sensor, which will offer 2x optical equivalent zoom. The remaining cameras, including the 32MP selfie camera, will be shared between the two devices. Both phones are expected to feature a 5,000 mAh battery, although details on the charging technology have not yet been revealed.
The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will run Android 14 with HyperOS on top and will include IP68-rated water and dust protection.
